We are a rescue organization committed to the recovery and placement of animals to safe and loving homes! 90% of our animals have been rescued from death row, the rest from abusive, neglectful situations, and of course, the economy is making it impossible for many people to afford housing or their pets anymore so we receive many pets no thanks to foreclosure.

Our rescue efforts saved over 15 animals this past weekend alone from certain death. We now need to place some wonderful pets into loving homes so we can rescue more!

Most of our dogs are fantastic with other dogs and cats. All of them are temperament tested, socialized in foster homes with other animals and most of our dogs will know their basic commands before coming to live with you!

Please see our current listing of available pets. A home check and application is required, along with a modest adoption fee. Your adoption fee includes all of the following: spaying/neutering, a microchip, vaccinations, and de-worming. And because we are a non-profit organization, it is also entirely tax-deductible.

Serious inquiries only please! All applicants will be considered but please know that the most suitable life-mate for the animal will be chosen. You must be able to provide lots of love and attention, and we must be sure that the animal’s new home will be forever.

If you are not able to adopt, but would still like to help out our organization, we’d love to have you! We are always looking for assistance at adoption events, people who are able to foster, donations of old linens, dog/cat food and kennels. This rescue organization is non-profit, so all financial donations are tax deductible!

Kitty

"Kitty" is a 1-2 yr female, grey and white. She has is very sweet and little fat. She would like to be someone's "one and only" cat. Before we got Kitty, she was an outdoor cat..therefore she is very territorial when it comes to other cats. HOWEVER she does not seem to mind dogs at all...and SHE LOVES KIDS & PEOPLE. Kitty is a talker ... she lets you know when she wants to eat (at the same time every night lol) and when she wants affection. She has no behavioral issue, is perfectly behaved in the house, uses her litterbox and makes a great companion. She's keeps being overlooked by adopters who primarily want kittens, but she promises that if you adopt her, she will be so grateful and love you forever!

Mini

Mini is a 11 month old female kitten. She was rescued from the local shelter where all of her brothers and sisters were killed for being "feral" fortunately, we got to her in time...Mini was the "runt" of the litter so she was and will remain very small. Though she is almost a year old, she still looks like a kitten.....Mini is asked us to tell you that she is starting to feel a little insecure. Sure, she's no wide-eyed baby anymore...and sure, shes not an in-demand breed like a siamese or persian or russian blue but she's an awesome cat! Mini the tabby girl has come a long way! She was once very shy but now she is very affectionate and when you pet her, she purrs very loudly. She loves attention, and definitely likes to cuddle with other cats in the household. Now that we have garnered her trust, she even walks straight up to us and gives us kisses on the mouth! She also enjoys sitting on your lap and helping you do your work on the computer. She's hoping that someone will see how gorgeous and special she is ( the lone survivor!) and give her a second chance at life!

Valentine

Valentine is believed to be a chinese crested / yorkie mix.. She was rescued from the shelter & euthanasia on valentines day. Though Valentine is small (about 3 lbs) she has a big additude (in a good way) and a lot of personality. She likes to dance, and she will LIVE in your lap. Because she knew a mean man once, she doesnt trust them very much so she prefers a single mommy..however could adjust to having a daddy if he was patient and loving..and she loves having brothers and sisters to jump on and play with...Valentine is energetic, spunky , adorable and sweet. She is ok with dogs and cats but would LOVE be the only one getting attention...Could you be the person she's looking for?

Meet Zoe! (formerly "macarena" of the Lancaster shelter. When we first met her, she was at the Lancaster shelter (which is a high-kill shelter), in ISO , where the public could not see her. Her eyes were crusted shut with an untreated eye and skin infection that went deep into the fold ...of her skin, along with a severe URI and VERY SKINNY.
She was terrified, unable to see anything and only able to hear screaming and crying dogs around her.
