We are a rescue organization committed to the recovery and placement of animals to safe and loving homes! 90% of our animals have been rescued from death row, the rest from abusive, neglectful situations, and of course, the economy is making it impossible for many people to afford housing or their pets anymore so we receive many pets no thanks to foreclosure.

Our rescue efforts saved over 15 animals this past weekend alone from certain death. We now need to place some wonderful pets into loving homes so we can rescue more!

Most of our dogs are fantastic with other dogs and cats. All of them are temperament tested, socialized in foster homes with other animals and most of our dogs will know their basic commands before coming to live with you!

Please see our current listing of available pets. A home check and application is required, along with a modest adoption fee. Your adoption fee includes all of the following: spaying/neutering, a microchip, vaccinations, and de-worming. And because we are a non-profit organization, it is also entirely tax-deductible.

Serious inquiries only please! All applicants will be considered but please know that the most suitable life-mate for the animal will be chosen. You must be able to provide lots of love and attention, and we must be sure that the animal’s new home will be forever.

If you are not able to adopt, but would still like to help out our organization, we’d love to have you! We are always looking for assistance at adoption events, people who are able to foster, donations of old linens, dog/cat food and kennels. This rescue organization is non-profit, so all financial donations are tax deductible!

Agro

Agro is a black and white 3 month old kitten. He was rescued from euthanasia and is now looking for loving family to take care of him.
Agro was recently featured on Jay Leno. He loves cat toys and is the most outgoing of the bunch.He takes a day or two to make his approach but once he does, he wont leave your side! He absolutely LOVES dogs and will climb on their backs and start making muffins.

Akira

Akira is a 5 month old female German Shepherd mix. She was dumped at the shelter because she was sick with an upper respiratory infection. She was about to be euthanized when we rescued her.

Bear

Bear is a male 5 month puppy and we believe he’s a Min Pin or Doberman mix. This little cutie was dumped at the shelter covered in fleas and ticks. It’s hard to believe that this sweetie was about to be euthanized, but he has now been fully treated, is in perfect health and is now ready for a wonderful loving home! He is not fully housebroken yet but we are working on it!

Britney

"Britney" lucked out when the lovely Denise Richards found her at the shelter and bailed her out. Britney is doing well in her foster home but is longing for a home of her very own! She is healthy, happy, loving, quiet and sweet. She loves kids,cats and other dogs. Her shelter paperwork lists her as around 2 but our private veterinarian believes her to be a senior actually (though she doesnt act like one) so we are unsure of her exact age but believe it to be around 8-10.. Most small dogs live very long lives-- and britneys youthful, playful demeanor and gorgeous physical condition lead us to believe that she has A LOT more years of life to live and a LOT more love to give. Britney asked us to tell you that while she is respectful in the house when left alone, she really enjoys companionship and would be thrilled if her new parents could be home with her a lot. she also really enjoys warm laps and gentle hugs.

UPDATE: Britney (aka Trixie) has found a loving home.

Butters

Butters is a miniature chihuahau rescued from the local shelter.

Chachi

Chachi is a 1 year old neutered male cat. He was rescued from euthanasia and is now looking for a wonderful loving home & a family to grow with. He is of great health and ready for adoption! You will get many years of love with this cat.

Cheyenne

Several months ago, we received a call from a distraught couple who were in the midst of foreclosure, unemployed and losing their homes. The woman was disabled, and her husband-laid off.They had 2 dogs, one of which was a loyal service dog, Cody, who had been with them since he was a pup and spent an entire year tending to the womans needs as she was in bed and a wheelchair recovering from a massive back surgery which left her permanently disabled. and the other, a beautiful Golden named Cheyenne.They were desperate to keep their dogs safe and out of the shelter as they frantically tried to find suitable living accomodations for themselves and as the husband looked for new employment.
We agreed to take the dogs and help keep them safe.

Update: Cheyenne has been adopted by a loving family.

Church

Church is an eight month old rescue foster puppy who is absolutely amazing and lovable in search of forever home. This baby came to us as a foster puppy at the age of 6 weeks and is through his first stage of obedience training. Lovable and energetic, he is housebroken and crate trained and needs a loving and attentive forever home.

Coco was scheduled for euthanasia until we rescued her.

Cody

Devereaux

Devereaux is a 6 month old male Chihuahua mix. This little guy was dumped at the shelter because his owner said he was vomiting. He was scheduled for euthanasia until we rescued him.

UPDATE: Devereaux has found his forever home!

Fluffy

"Fluffy" the terrier mix was rescued from the shelter with her friend Mimi. She is a total lap dog. They would like to be adopted together but can be adopted seperately into a home with another dog

Grace

Grace is a 5 year old female Yorkie rescued from a puppy mill. She is crate trained and will need someone with love to work on house-breaking.

Heidi & Tom

Heidi and Tom are 16 week old sister and brother who were dumped at the shelter as strays when their mommy never came back to feed them. They were also covered in fleas and ticks, and have since been treated and are ready to go home. They are fun, playful, cuddly, super affectionate and looking for great homes where they can grow and be loved!

Johnny Depp

Johnny, the 6 month old bluenose pit puppy was rescued Halloween 2009. He was the lone survivor of a BIG pitbull euthanasia. @ East Valley
Shelter on 10/31/09. They were going to kill him too until a bunch of rescue groups worked together and got him out and into his current
foster home!

Update: Johnny has been adopted into a loving home!

Lily

Lydia

Lydia is a one eyed chihuahua rescued from euthanasia at the shelter.

Update Lydia has been adopted.

Mildred

Mildred is a 2 year old female Persian. She is needing some special love from a caring family.

UPDATE: Mildred has been adopted with a kitten friend! And her new owner loves her like crazy!

Mimi

Mimi is a very cute 1-2 year old yorkie mix who was pulled out of the shelter with her friend "Fluffy". Mimi likes having another dog to play with, and would love to find a new home with "Fluffy" or another small dog.

Morkie

Morkie is a 3 year old female Maltese-Yorkie mix. She was rescued from a puppy mill where she was forced to breed over and over again. This little cutie is shy and sweet and would be fantastic for someone who works from home or as an elderly companion lap dog. Also great with other small dogs and cats.
