Rock Star Rescue

Johnny Depp
Johnny, the 6 month old bluenose pit puppy was rescued Halloween 2009. He was the lone survivor of a BIG pitbull euthanasia. @ East Valley
Shelter on 10/31/09. They were going to kill him too until a bunch of rescue groups worked together and got him out and into his current
foster home! Since that time he has been treated and fully recovered from his shelter respiratory and skin problems. In fact, He is gorgeous! People stop to tell him so all the time, and he happy thanks them with big wet sloppy kisses.
Because Johnny had severe demodex mange, he spent a long time in isolation, therefore, he is still consistentlyvery very excited when he gets attention. Although Johnny can be exciteable, he is also very quiet and calm when he is in his crate or in his dog run. He is perfectly behaved and he doesnt want to upset your neighbors by barking! ;)
He is crate trained, but he is still working on his housebreaking. He has not had an accident yet, but he is also very closely monitored when in the house.Johnny LOVES walks, however he's not so good on the leash (although he's trying really hard).. He has not been formally introduced to other animals, however when he does see them on his walks, he immediately strikes play pose. In fact Johnny is such a happy boy, and a wiggle butt, that he has managed to create a sore lttle "happy tail" for himself, from banging it so hard on EVERYTHING. Johnny has never shown any signs of aggression however because of his sheer strength and size, he is not recommended for a home with small animals or children.
He will need an owner that is patient, understands what he has been through and understands the pit bull breed.Johnny will also need some training but he is a quick learner and eager to please.
